Pinnacle Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Piney Mountain is clearly visible from Pinnacle Lake; going for a hike on the Mullinax Trail is always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Carrick Creek is in the neighborhood of Pinnacle Lake and is always a joy to go to. Dry warm beds await you at Laurel Mountain Inn, and you can go for a hike on the Art Loeb Trail.

If only every location had this much outdoors cool things, what a great earth it would be. If you come at the right time of year, Carrick Creek offers some great whitewater, and Pinnacle Lake is a wonderful place to camp, Table Rock State Park is a wonderful place. The warmest time of the year at Pinnacle Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, | |

and the overnight is a little cooler of course, generally in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Pinnacle Lake.
There are some splendid whitewater spots on Matthews
Creek, and you can stay the night at Palmetto Cove. High Low Gap is a brilliant place to visit nearby, and there are plenty of people from Brevard here at Pinnacle Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay A Nice
Little Motel is a delightful choice, and nearby you find the Black Mountain Trail which is a perfect hiking trail.
