    In South Carolina there are many beautiful lakes, Philpat Pond is one of them. If you need a place to stay Easley-Days Inn West Of Greenville/Clemson Area is a splendid choice; if you came for an overnight stay Palmetto Cove is a great site to camp. A glorious spot for whitewater paddling near Philpat Pond is Oilcamp creek, and a brilliant close by hotel is Jameson Inn Easley. This is a splendid region for folks who like lakes. Homers Pond is a lake in the  
   neighborhood.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Rolling Green Golf Club, and camping is available at Solitude Pointe. Philpat Pond is a reasonably wet place usually with a great deal of rainfall; all through March this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is January. At Philpat Pond through the months of summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's; night lows during the winter for Philpat Pond tend to be in the 20's. You're perhaps into lakes, Jamason Pond is one of those nearby, and you can run the rapids of North Saluda River.

Bought by Susan and Steve Suber in 1997, the Flowermill RV. campground is in Taylors, SC. It's proximity to The Mountains and surrounding lakes makes it a perfect place to stay. The park is right next to the Enoree river on land that was once used as a mill. The old structure still exists as does the dam that provided its power. With its sandy beach and beautiful waterfall, I cant think of a better place to relax and let the sounds of nature wash the stress away. The owners couldn't have been nicer or more informative. A pure delight...
