Phillips Lake is a pretty wet place ordinarily with a lot of precipitation; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while April is usually the driest month. Camping at Phillips Lake is delightful fun, Big Cypress Lake RV Park/fishing Retreat is a delightful local campground; if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Conway(Myrtle Beach Area), Sc is a wonderful choice. Little Pee Dee Swamp is an interesting       swamp near Phillips Lake, and after a long day outdoors Sleep Inn Conway is a fine site to spend a night or two. Any time is a tremendous time at Phillips Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. This lake is so wonderful. Phillips Lake is a good place to camp, Williamson's Lake Park is a good place. Lakes are glorious; James Lake is a lake that's close to Phillips Lake. Visit Alfred Creek while you're here at Phillips Lake; you'll meet a lot of folks                  from Georgetown here. Through the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 90's at Phillips Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 60's.
