Peters Pond is a lake worth visiting. All through the summer highs here at Peters Pond get into the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Peters Pond. Chauga River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by, and a golf course nearby is Oconee Country Club.

| | neighborhood of Peters Pond is a pleasant idea, and there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the Chattooga Trail. If you need a place to stay Jameson Inn Seneca is a fine choice; if you've had enough of Peters Pond, Negro Fork Reservoir is close by. A good deal of rainfall falls at Peters Pond; throughout March this area sees the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest.

Ford Trail is a glorious hiking trail nearby. If you love the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Peters Pond. A fine nearby hotel is Seneca-Days Inn Clemson, and if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the Winding
Stairs Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Peters Pond is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Keowee Falls RV Park is a nice local campground; you're possibly hooked on lakes, Coneross Creek Reservoir is one of those close by.
Paddling on Cedar Creek is so much fun, and camping at Crooked Creek Rv Park is always a tremendous experience.
