Perch Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Big Cypress Lake RV Park/fishing Retreat is a glorious local campground; Comfort Inn Marion is a brilliant spot to get some rest. Perch Lake is a wet spot that gets lots of precipitation; during July this area sees the most rain, and April is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Perch Lake, you could also stop by pretty       Bass Lake; some attention-grabbing geology is available here, Devils Elbow is right here. If you're a golfer then a good nearby course is Green Acres Golf Club, and a glorious nearby hotel is The Decanter Inn. There's so much to do here at Perch Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Little Pee Dee State Park is a brilliant location for that, and at Perch Lake you can make out River Hill. The warmest time of the year at Perch Lake arrives with                  high temperatures in the 90's; the nighttime is a bit colder of course, frequently in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Perch Lake dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. Man, is there heaps of fun things to do near Perch Lake.
