This lake is so wonderful. Parrs Pond is a great location to visit for more than one day, Brick House Campground is a great location to camp nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Newberry-Days Inn. Kinards Koa Kampground is a great campground nearby, and Greenslades Pond is a nearby lake that you could pop by. A lake nearby is Sandhill Farms Pond, and there are plenty of people from Newberry here. Summertime at Parrs       Pond comes with high temperatures in the 90's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 50's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Parrs Pond. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Tyger River; Quality Inn Newberry is a glorious site to get some rest.
