Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are generally in the 50's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Parrs Pond fall into the 20's. | | Newberry. After a long day outdoors Newberry-Days Inn is a good place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Brick House Campground is always a nice experience, and the great folks of Newberry like to hang out close by. Parrs Pond is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Kinards Koa Kampground is a fine local campground; get your heart beating on the nice whitewater of Tyger River. Parrs Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; March is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is November.
