It's a wonderful idea to pop by Caney Branch, it's in the neighborhood of Parkers Pond, and if you came for an overnight stay Cane Creek Park is a great location to camp. For the duration of the summer months at Parkers Pond temperatures are generally in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's; through the dark hours in the winter at Parkers Pond       temperatures sink to the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. If you're stopping by Parkers Pond from Lancaster, you won't be the only one; do stop at Betheas Pond, it's a delightful lake. Just can't get enough of Parkers Pond. Whitewater paddling is great on Catawba River. If you need a place to stay Best Western Of Lancaster is a delightful choice; Lancaster Golf Club is a good golf course close by. Parkers Pond is a quite wet place regularly with lots of precipitation;                  during the month of March you get the most rain around here while April is usually the driest month.
