Throughout the warmest time of the year here at Park Pond, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 50's; through the dark hours in the winter at Park Pond temperatures sink to the 30's. A wonderful site to camp here at Park Pond is Lee state Natural Area, and a picturesque lake like Meares Pond       is a tremendous place to stop at. If you need a place to stay Southland Motel is a magnificent choice. Take some time to go to Sandhills State Forest since you're here; dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn-Bishopville. This lake is so wonderful. Park Pond is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Camp In The Pines is a brilliant local campground, and golf can be played at Bethune Country Club Golf Course.
