Go to Park Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! Park Lake rocks! There are some delightful whitewater spots on Pacolet, and if you're here and you like golf, you can stop by The Creek Golf Club. If you came to camp Croft state Natural Area is a delightful site to do that; if you need a place to stay Marriott Spartanburg Renaissance Park is a great choice. Camping at Pine Ridge Campground is always a glorious experience;

A delightful close by hotel is Spartanburg-Days Inn Downtown; if you come at the right time of year, Lawsons Fork Creek offers some brilliant whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Park Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Spartanburg, and it's a good idea to stop at Halfway Branch. are in the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Park Lake are in the 20's.
Do visit Forest Lake right next door to Park Lake, it's a stunning lake. Park Lake is a quite wet place typically with a good deal of rain; most of the rain falls during March; April is when it's the driest.
