Old Saluda Reservoir is good enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Greenwood State Recreation Area is a good local campground, and if you get bored of Old Saluda Reservoir you could also go to nearby New Saluda Reservoir. It's a tremendous idea to go to Mine Creek, it's next to Old Saluda Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Near Old Saluda Reservoir you discover a golf       course called Persimmon Hill Golf Club; a lake close by is Felkels Pond. Old Saluda Reservoir mostly gets a good deal of precipitation; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain while November is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summertime highs at Old Saluda Reservoir ordinarily tend to be in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 50's; through the dark hours                  in the wintertime at Old Saluda Reservoir temperatures dip to the 20's.
