Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Old River Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A quick spree to Atkinson Branch close to Old River Lake is a pleasant idea, and there are swamps here too, Little Pee Dee Swamp is in close proximity. Old River Lake is a wet place that gets a large amount       of rain; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is April. Through the summertime highs here at Old River Lake reach the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. During the winter the highs are mostly in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Old River Lake. Phillips Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out; after a long day outdoors Sleep Inn Conway is a nice place to                  spend a night or two.
