If you adore the outdoors, you'll adore Old Clinton Reservoir. The high level of rainfall makes Old Clinton Reservoir a rather wet location; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. South Tyger River has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Old Clinton Reservoir is a nice place to       visit for more than one day, Magnolia RV Park & Campground is a nice place to camp nearby. Comfort Suites Clinton is a delightful spot to get some rest, and while you're here, you could pop by Long Branch. During the summer at Old Clinton Reservoir highs are typically in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 50's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime                  for Old Clinton Reservoir tend to be in the 20's. In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Warrior Creek, and if you need a place to stay Howard Johnson Clinton is a great choice.
