Old Barstow Pond is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. Don't miss out on a spree to Congaree Swamp National Monument while you're here at Old Barstow Pond, and if you need a site to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Columbia I-20 @ Clemson Road is a pleasant choice. | | the overnight is a tad chillier of course, ordinarily in the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 50's while Old Barstow Pond overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's.

Barstow Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Bethel Campground is a great local campground, and Saluda River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by. A tremendous location to camp here at Old Barstow Pond is
Capital City Campground, and in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Broad River.
Old Barstow Pond is a relatively wet place mostly with much rainfall; through March this area sees the most rain, and November on the other hand is the driest.
