     Oconee State Park Lake Number One is a nice lake to visit. Oconee State Park Lake Number One gets much water; most of the rain falls throughout March, and the driest month of the year is April. Going for a hike on the Burrells Ford Trail is always a perfect adventure, and a short tour to Hidden Falls is always worthwhile. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Oconee State Park Lake Number One highs are usually in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures  
   are in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Oconee State Park Lake Number One.
This lake is so wonderful. At Oconee State Park Lake Number One you always meet someone from Seneca, and why not head up to Scaly Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Walhalla Reservoir, and you can go for a hike on the Ellicott
 
               Rock Trail. Why not camp at Camp Chatuga since you're here at Oconee State Park Lake Number One, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Winding Stairs Trail.
Oconee State Park Lake Number One in fact is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise. Why not have a look at close by Big Stakey Creek since you're here at Oconee State Park Lake Number One. Dry warm beds await you at Jameson Inn Seneca; here at Oconee State Park Lake Number One you can make out Long Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is fine at Sky Valley. Lakes are nice; Gordons Lake is a lake that's next to Oconee State Park Lake Number One.
What a place this is for outdoors folks. Chauga River is a great whitewater spot close to Oconee State Park Lake Number One, and camping is available at Oconee Station state Historic Site. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chattooga River; after a long day outdoors Old Edwards Inn and Spa is a nice place to spend a night or two.
