Through the months of summer here at Murray Pond, high temperatures generally reach the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 50's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Murray Pond temperatures plunge to the 30's. Murray Pond is a relatively wet place ordinarily with a good deal of rain; during the month of July you get the most       rain around here, and November on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Murray Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Columbia/camden RV Park is a good location for that; a great close by hotel is Econo Lodge Inn & Suites. After a long day outdoors Quality Inn & Suites is a splendid site to spend a night or two; swing by Jumping Run Creek it's a great place to take a look at. The panoramas at Congaree                  Swamp National Monument will blow your mind, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Sumter here. If you came to camp Bethel Campground is a wonderful location to do that; a lake close by is Murray Lake. You assume that's enough?
