If the weather is wonderful here at Mountain Lake, you can go for a hike along the Laurel Mountain Trail, and if you need a site to stay A Nice Little Motel is a wonderful choice. Mountain Lake regularly gets a large amount of precipitation; of all the months       in a year March is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. Laurel Mountain Inn is a perfect location to get some rest; a magnificent spot for whitewater paddling is South Saluda River. Yeah, come here to Mountain Lake for a glorious time. Lakes? Sure, Methodist Pond is in close proximity, and hiking along the Mullinax Trail is delightful fun. Throughout the long summer days here at Mountain Lake, high temperatures ordinarily                  get into the 80's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Mountain Lake. Lots of folks from Brevard come to Mountain Lake, and the sight of picturesque Bald Rock is pleasant. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Duck Creek; if you came for an overnight stay Caesars Head State Park is a delightful spot to camp.
