During the warmest time of the year highs here at Mountain Lake reach the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Mountain Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on South Saluda River is       so much fun. There's so much to do here at Mountain Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Palmetto Cove is a great location for that. After a long day outdoors Hampton Inn Brevard NC is a magnificent location to spend a night or two; drift down the rapids of Matthews Creek in a kayak. So much fun stuff near Mountain Lake, clearly remarkable. While you're here at Mountain Lake, you could also pop by lovely Methodist Pond, and on a wonderful day you                  can take a hike along the Black Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Garren Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and Dowthit Cove is a splendid location to take a look at. Duck Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth taking a look at, and the peak of Bald Rock can be made out from Mountain Lake. The Laurel Mountain Trail is a nice hiking trail close to Mountain Lake. If the weather is brilliant here at Mountain Lake, you can go for a hike along the Mullinax Trail, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites BREVARD is a magnificent location to get some rest.
