Lakes are magnificent; Reno Lake is a lake that's next to Morres Lake, and you can run the rapids of Tyger River. The high level of rainfall makes Morres Lake a rather wet site; most of the rain falls during March while November is mostly the driest month. Be careful coming to Morres Lake, you might not ever want to return home again. You're sure to bump into some       friendly folks from Union here, and Rose Hill Plantation state Historic Site is a brilliant local campground. If you need a site to stay Clinton-Days Inn Interstate/Presbyterian College is a pleasant choice, and Morres Lake is a delightful place to visit for more than one day, Broad River Campground is a delightful place to camp nearby. Broad River is a pleasant whitewater spot in close proximity to Morres Lake, and not far from Morres Lake you'll hit upon                  Foster Park Lake which is a charming lake. Summertime highs at Morres Lake usually tend to be in the 90's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 60's.
