If you come at the right time of year, Tyger River offers some good whitewater. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Morres Lake while nighttime lows are regularly in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Morres Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Broad River,       and after a long day outdoors Clinton-Days Inn Interstate/Presbyterian College is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two. If you came to camp Broad River Campground is a good location to do that; a scenic lake like Poplar Lake is a wonderful place to have a look at. There's so much to do here at Morres Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rose Hill Plantation state Historic Site is a perfect location for that; you'll meet a lot of people from                  Union here.
