Moores Pond is a lake worth visiting. Get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of Saluda River. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. There's whitewater on Broad River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and if you're here you can play some golf at Northwoods Golf Club. Moores Pond gets a great deal of water; March is the month that gets the most rain, and November meanwhile is the driest month.

You'll need more than a day to explore everything Moores Pond has to offer, you can camp at Sesquicentennial State Park.
