Montagues Pond gets much water; July is the month that gets the most rain, and November is the month with the least moisture. There's so much to do here at Montagues Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Poinsett state Park is a fine spot for that; dry warm beds await you at Eagle Inn. Montagues Pond is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Elliott's Landing and Campground is a       wonderful local campground; if you need a place to stay Americas Inn is a good choice. All the outdoors amusing stuff close to Montagues Pond will keep you coming back many times. While you're here at Montagues Pond you will meet lots of people from close by Sumter; obviously, this is a brilliant region for folks who like lakes, Boyle Pond is a lake in close proximity. Throughout the summertime months highs here at Montagues Pond get into the 80's. Summer                  nighttime lows plunge down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Montagues Pond descend into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful.
