This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at The Palms Hotel @ Isle of Palms, and there are swamps here too, Jack Creek is in close proximity. There's nice hiking along the Turkey Walk Trail, and you'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Big Pond. And that's not all you can do here at Moccasin Pond. Visiting Fort Moultrie National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. Moccasin Pond       is a rather wet place frequently with a large amount of precipitation; all through July this area sees the most rain; November is the month with the least moisture. Wild Dunes Resort is a splendid spot to get some rest, and a visit to nearby Northeast Point is very relaxing. Don't forget to take a tremendous little spree to Bull Creek, and the Swamp Fox Trail offers hiking at its best. At Moccasin Pond throughout the long summer days highs are in the 90's,                  and during the night it cools down to the 60's.
