Get your pulse rate up on the tremendous whitewater of Double Branch, and if you're a golfer then a glorious close by course is Southern Oaks Golf Course. A lot of precipitation falls at Merritts Pond; March is when you get the most rain here while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. During the warm months, highs commonly are in the 80's at Merritts Pond. Throughout       the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's with temperatures at Merritts Pond dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
