Lakes are good; Shulls Pond is a lake that's near McIver Pond. There's so much to do here at McIver Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Cedar Pond Campground is a great place for that. For the period of the summer here at McIver Pond, high temperatures regularly get into the 90's while overnight lows are regularly in the       60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 50's; night lows at McIver Pond through the winter typically fall into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water nearby flows, like Big Branch, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Huffman Burnt Millpond. McIver Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; throughout March this area sees the most rain, and November is the month with the least moisture.
