If you need a site to stay Econo Lodge Bishopville is a good choice. Camp In The Pines is a great campground here, and McGrits Millpond is a great lake nearby.

Lots of rain falls at McGuirts Millpond; most of the rain falls all through July, and April is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid nearby hotel is Americas Best Value Inn-Bishopville, and if you came for an overnight stay Lee state Natural Area is a fine place to camp.
