Lakes? Sure, Merritts Pond is in close proximity, and a glorious nearby hotel is Jameson Inn Easley. Summer at McGee Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's; the nighttime is a little colder of course, regularly in the 60's. Daytime highs through the       winter are in the 50's while the cold winter nights at McGee Pond are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Ivy Acres RV Park; Saluda River is a perfect whitewater spot close by. McGee Pond is a wet location that gets a great deal of rainfall; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is April. So much enjoyable stuff next to McGee Pond, absolutely phenomenal. A golf course close to McGee Pond is Southern                  Oaks Golf Course, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Easley West Of Greenville/Clemson Area is a fine place to spend a night or two.
