Be careful coming to McCorkle Pond, you might not ever want to go back home again. Pine Lakes Campgrounds is a splendid local campground. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Rock Hill, Sc is a brilliant location to spend a night or two; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Catawba River - South Fork. A wonderful nearby hotel is TownePlace Suites Rock Hill, and why not camp       at Mc Guire Mobile Home Park if you're here at McCorkle Pond. Sunview Lake is a tremendous lake near McCorkle Pond, and Regent Park Golf Club is a brilliant golf course close by. During the months of summer highs here at McCorkle Pond reach the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's with temperatures at McCorkle Pond dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. McCorkle                  Pond commonly gets much rainfall; most of the rain falls through March while April is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
