Go to Mahaffey Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. If the weather is tremendous here at Mahaffey Lake, you can go for a hike along the Foothills Trail, and people from Seneca love to come here. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Coneross Creek. If you come at the right time of year, Flat Shoal River offers some splendid whitewater, and Mahaffey Lake is not the only site nearby, Wingos Lake is a nearby lake.

During the warmest time of the year here at Mahaffey Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the
60's. For the duration of the winter highs are generally in the 50's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Mahaffey Lake plunge into the 20's. There's so much to do here at Mahaffey Lake that you need to camp
here for a while, High Falls Park is a brilliant spot for that, and if you get bored of Mahaffey Lake you could also go to close by Webb Lake. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Mahaffey Lake you can play some golf at Oconee Country Club; if you need a location to stay Seneca-Days Inn Clemson is a delightful choice.
