Why not take a refreshing hike along the Turkey Walk Trail. The warmest time of the year at Lower Reserve comes with high temperatures in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Highs throughout the winter are commonly in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Lower Reserve are in the 30's. Lower Reserve is not far at all from Charleston-North Charleston, and Goose Creek Days Inn is a great spot to get some rest.       Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lower Reserve; Swamp Fox Trail is a perfect local trail, and a good nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Moncks Corner, Sc. Why not camp at No 1 Camps while you're here at Lower Reserve; hey, Gough Creek is a magnificent local stream. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun things the area in close proximity to Lower Reserve has to offer. There's delightful hiking along the Jerico Horse Trail, and Fort Moultrie                  National Monument is a delightful national park. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful spot to camp here at Lower Reserve is KOA Kampgrounds, of course you could also go to Leneigh Reserve while you're here; it's not far at all.
