You're sure to encounter some smiling people from Columbia here; a lake nearby is Younginer Pond. There's some flowing water nearby, Hogpen Branch is a stream you can go to during your stay, and if you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Saluda River. And that's not all you can do here at       Longs Pond. A splendid place to camp here at Longs Pond is Siesta Cove Marina-campground, naturally you could also check out Lake Shealy Ann while you're here; it's not far at all. For the duration of the summertime months here at Longs Pond, high temperatures generally reach the 90's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 50's, and night lows all through the winter for Longs Pond                  tend to be in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Ramada Limited Lexington is a perfect site to spend a night or two, and Longs Pond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Edmund RV Park is a tremendous local campground.
