All through the days of summer highs here at Long Pond get into the 90's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Long Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene sites, why not stop at Shealy Pond in close proximity       to Long Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn & Suites. Long Pond is a pretty wet place mostly with lots of precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout March while November is the month with the least amount of precipitation. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. If you need a spot to stay Comfort Suites Lexington is a pleasant choice. If you're a golfer then a fine close by course is Indian Trail Golf Course, and Richard Pond is a tremendous lake close                  by.
