All through the warm months at Long Pond temperatures are commonly in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 50's; overnight lows during the wintertime for Long Pond tend to be in the 20's. Budget Inn is a great spot to get some rest, and camping at Pineacres Mobile Home Park is always a glorious experience. Long Pond       is a location with many visitors from Augusta-Richmond County, and if you're here, you could also visit striking Harrison Pond. The high level of rain makes Long Pond a pretty wet location; March is the wettest month with most rain, and November is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Hillyer Branch is a good spot to explore, and if you came to camp Aiken RV Park is a great spot to do that. Going for a hike on the Horn Creek Hiking                  Trail is always a glorious adventure, and a fine close by hotel is Crossroads Motel.
