The high level of rain makes The Little Lakes a rather wet site; most of the rain falls throughout July; the driest of the months is November. If you need a location to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Florence I-95 @ Hwy 327 is a delightful choice, and       if you get bored of The Little Lakes you could also go to close by Rogers Lake. For the period of the summertime months highs here at The Little Lakes get into the 90's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at The Little Lakes. Americas Best Value Inn/Florence is a pleasant spot to get some rest; you'll meet a lot of folks from Bennettsville here. This lake is so                  wonderful. Florence Koa Kampground is a nice local campground, and as expected Back Swamp flows through this area.
