While you're here at Lake Zimmerman, you could also visit delightful Lyles Brothers Lake, and why not take a little spree to Beaverdam Creek while you're here. Yeah, come here to Lake Zimmerman for a pleasant time. There's so much to do here at Lake Zimmerman that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Ridge Campground is a great site for that. You'll need more than a day to look       at everything Lake Zimmerman has to offer, you can camp at Croft state Natural Area. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lake Zimmerman, and the nighttime is quite chillier of course, mostly in the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are mostly in the 50's while Lake Zimmerman overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. North Tyger River has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by, and you'll meet a lot of people from Spartanburg here.                  All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Zimmerman a wet place; throughout the month of March you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is April. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Marriott Spartanburg Renaissance Park is a great place to spend a night or two, and do visit Zimmerman Pond, it's a beautiful lake.
