While you're here at Lake Wackedaw you can play some golf at Rivertowne Country Club; visiting Fort Moultrie National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at No 1 Camps; if you're going to from Charleston-North Charleston, you won't be the only one. On a fine day at Lake Wackedaw you can take a hike along the Swamp Fox Trail, and a tremendous       close by hotel is Shem Creek. Through the long summer days highs here at Lake Wackedaw reach the 90's while overnight lows are regularly in the 70's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's; night lows in the 30's for Lake Wackedaw. Be careful coming to Lake Wackedaw, you might not ever wanna go home again. If the weather is fine here at Lake Wackedaw, you can go for a hike along the Turkey Walk Trail, and a lake close by is Lake Woodlawn. Lake Wackedaw gets                  a great deal of water; August is when you get the most rain here, and November is when it's the driest.
