A large amount of precipitation falls at Lake Redwing; most of the rain falls during July while November is mostly the driest month. A quick trip to Alligator Creek right next door to Lake Redwing is a tremendous idea, and if you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Florence. Throughout the warm days of summer at Lake Redwing temperatures are regularly in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to       the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Lake Redwing dip into the 20's. A great place to camp here at Lake Redwing is Florence Koa Kampground, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Florence I-95 @ Hwy 327 is a brilliant place to get some rest. A tremendous close by hotel is Americas Best Value Inn; Beaver Creek Golf Club is a golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. Camping                  is available at Swamp Fox Campground, and lakes are such peaceful spots, why not visit Lowthers Lake.
