If you are in Richland county it's always a good idea to stop by Lake Katherine. Lake Katherine sees pretty high levels of precipitation; during the month of March you get the most rain around here, and November is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. is a good whitewater spot in close proximity to Lake Katherine, and Econo Lodge Columbia is a pleasant location to get some rest. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake Katherine. Congaree Swamp
National Monument is a very wonderful site to have a look at in close proximity to Lake Katherine, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Columbia/Ft. Jackson Area is a perfect location to spend a night or two.
