My family and I rented a lovely country home called Maplecrest at Lake Jocasse. It was just perfect and very close to the Park and all the nearby Lake activities. It is hard to find a pet friendly rental but they were very accommodating!

Lake Jocassee is a crystal clear mountain lake located in Upstate South Carolina. A pristine watershed created in the 1970's as part of the Jocassee Gorges Conservation Area. Jocassee is fed by a myraid of waterfalls, rivers and streams. The Lake is extremely deep with depths of up to 350 ft. making it a fisherman's paradise. The Lake has 75 miles of mostly undeveloped shoreline and is the Crown Jewel of the Southern Blueridge Mountains. A Jocassee Vacation is not to be missed.
