Lake Jocasse is a rather wet place frequently with a great deal of precipitation; March is the wettest month with most rain while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Some close by water includes Toxaway River, and a great nearby hotel is Best Western Executive Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Jocasse is right by the Foothills Trail; if you need a place to stay Sapphire Valley Resort is a great choice.       This lake is so wonderful. Here at Lake Jocasse you'll probably meet some folks from Brevard, and hiking along the Winding Stairs Trail is wonderful fun. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff near Lake Jocasse. Why not have a look at Jocassee Dam since you're here. Lakes are magnificent; Toxaway Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Lake Jocasse. There's so much to do here at Lake Jocasse that you need to camp here for a while, Devils                  Fork State Park is a good spot for that; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Lake Jocassee. If you came to camp Keowee-Toxaway state Natural Area is a brilliant place to do that, and Eastatoe Creek - Lower Gorge has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Eastatoe River, and if the weather is beautiful, you get a great vista of Bootleg Mountain from Lake Jocasse. Throughout the days of summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Lake Jocasse. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's.
