Yeah, come here to Lake Helen for a tremendous time. Summertime at Lake Helen arrives with high temperatures in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 70's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Lake Helen fall into the 30's. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Helen has to offer, you can camp at Wheat water Lake Campground. There's       so much to do here at Lake Helen that you need to camp here for a while, Mountaineer Motel is a tremendous site for that. This lake is so wonderful. A visit to Congaree Swamp National Monument is recommended, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Orangeburg, Sc is a great site to get some rest. It's a brilliant idea to stop by Dicks Swamp, it's near Lake Helen, and you'll probably meet some folks from Orangeburg here. All the water falling down from the sky                  makes Lake Helen a wet spot; July is when you get the most rain here, and October meanwhile is the driest month.
