The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Lake Haigler, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Lake Haigler sink into the 20's. All the outdoors cool stuff in close proximity to Lake Haigler will keep you coming back over and over. If you come at the right time of year, Catawba River -       South Fork offers some splendid whitewater, and if you came to camp Lazy Daze Campground is a great place to do that. Best Western Carowinds is a wonderful location to get some rest; Lake Patricia is a wonderful lake close by. After a long day outdoors Plaza Hotel on Carowinds is a brilliant place to spend a night or two; as expected Blankmanship Branch flows through this region. This lake is so wonderful. During your visit to Lake Haigler you'll meet some                  people from Charlotte-Gastonia-Concord for sure, and since you're here you can play some golf at Regent Park Golf Club. There are other sites here than Lake Haigler, for example Lake Haigler. There's so much to do here at Lake Haigler that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Lakes Campgrounds is a good location for that.
