Yeah, come here to Lake Eljama for a glorious time. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Saluda River; a perfect close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Piedmont/Greenville Area. Little Grove Creek is next to Lake Eljama and is always a diversion to have a look at, and while you're here you can play some golf at Donaldson Golf Club. The good folks of Greenville       like to hang out nearby; whitewater paddling is great on Reedy River. Stay the night at Springwood RV Park; Lake Eljama is not the only place nearby, Prince Lake is a nearby lake. Lake Eljama is a rather wet place generally with much rain; through the month of March you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is September. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lake Eljama that you need to camp here for a while, Paris Mountain                  State Park is a tremendous place for that, and Holiday Inn Greenville I-85@Augusta Road is a wonderful site to get some rest. At Lake Eljama all through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's, and the nighttime is fairly chillier of course, usually in the 60's.
