For the period of the winter highs are in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Lake Cherokee. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lake Cherokee has to offer, you can camp at Pinecone Campground; after a long day outdoors Holiday       Inn Express GAFFNEY OUTLET MALL I-85 is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Kings Branch in close proximity to Lake Cherokee, and Draytonville Mountain is easy to spot from Lake Cherokee. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Gaffney, and why not a little side spree to Toms Branch. There's whitewater on Broad River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and the wonderful folks of Gaffney like to                  hang out close by. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! Lake Cherokee is unbeatable! There's so much to do here at Lake Cherokee that you need to camp here for a while, Woodland Park Campground is a perfect site for that.
