If you are traveling by, why not stop by Lake Cheohee. Lake Cheohee is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. There's so much to do here at Lake Cheohee that you need to camp here for a while, Burrel Place Campground is a magnificent place for that; close by you find the Winding Stairs Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Cheohee a wet spot; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain,

| | and April on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Moody Spring Campground, and there are plenty of people from Seneca here. Summertime highs at Lake Cheohee mostly tend to be in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's.
