Take a little spree to Bee Creek while you're here at Lake Cheohee, and Old Edwards Inn and Spa is a brilliant place to get some rest. The top of Boast Mountain is easily seen from Lake Cheohee, and a beautiful lake like Sumter National Forest Lake is a great place to have a look at. Just can't get enough of the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you need a place to stay Sapphire Valley Resort is a magnificent choice; do pop by Lake       Cherokee, it's a delightful lake. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Foothills Trail, and there's whitewater on Chattooga River - East Fork for all you adrenaline rush seekers. High temperatures at Lake Cheohee throughout the summer are in the 70's while night lows are typically in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Lake Cheohee dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. And if that's not sufficient there's                  plenty more exciting things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Winding Stairs Trail; a wonderful site to camp here at Lake Cheohee is Burrel Place Campground. The high level of rain makes Lake Cheohee a pretty wet site; the wettest month of the year is typically March, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is April. Lake Cheohee is a beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Scaly Mountain is in close proximity to Lake Cheohee, and you'll meet a lot of people from Seneca here. This lake is so wonderful.
