If you are traveling by, why not stop by Lake Cheohee. Lake Cheohee is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. There's so much to do here at Lake Cheohee that you need to camp here for a while, Burrel Place Campground is a magnificent place for that; close by you find the Winding Stairs Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Cheohee a wet spot; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain,

This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Moody Spring Campground, and there are plenty of people from Seneca here. Summertime highs at Lake Cheohee mostly tend to be in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Cheohee temperatures descend to the 20's. You'll in fact wish for more | |
