Summertime highs at Lake Cheohee frequently tend to be in the 70's. Summer night lows drop down to the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 40's, and night lows through the wintertime for Lake Cheohee tend to be in the 20's. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Moody Spring Campground is a nice campground nearby; a lake close by is Sumter National       Forest Lake. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Chattooga River - East Fork, and Moody Spring is always fun to check out. Lake Cheohee is a wet place that gets a good deal of rainfall; March is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is April. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Old Edwards Inn and Spa is a magnificent location to get some rest, and the snow                  is fine at Scaly Mountain. If you need a place to stay Sapphire Valley Resort is a magnificent choice, and there's tremendous hiking along the Foothills Trail. Bee Creek is a great local stream, and don't leave Lake Cheohee without first going for a hike along the Winding Stairs Trail. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular place for people from Seneca, and Lake Cheohee is a great site to visit for more than one day, Burrel Place Campground is a great site to camp nearby. That right there is loads of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Blue Ridge Mountains has it all.
