A round of golf at nearby Sumter National Golf Club is a nice way to kill some time, and Korn Pond is a glorious site to visit for more than one day, Poinsett state Park is a glorious site to camp nearby. Shulers Pond is a glorious lake near Korn Pond, and since you're here at Korn Pond it's a great idea to stop at Harvin Bay. Korn Pond is a pretty wet place regularly       with a great deal of precipitation; during July this area sees the most rain while November is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If only every site had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great globe it would be. If you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Sumter is a great choice; Elliott's Landing and Campground is a tremendous campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime highs at Korn Pond typically tend to be in the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 60's.
