Knights Pond is not far at all from Greenwood, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Ziegenfuss Pond. Not far from Knights Pond, you'll stumble on Pelletts Pond which is a pretty lake, and camping is available at Scuffle Town Usa RV Park. Simpsonville Days Inn is a great location to get some rest, and camping at Midway Hunt Campground is always a good experience. This       lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Reedy River, and after a long day outdoors Jameson Inn Greenwood is a fine place to spend a night or two. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Knights Pond. There's whitewater on Saluda River for all you thrill seekers. Knights Pond is a rather wet place regularly with much precipitation; most of the rain falls during March, and August is the month                  with the least moisture. Summer at Knights Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 60's.
