If you came for an overnight stay River Bottom Farms is a glorious place to camp; after a long day outdoors Country Hearth Inn Cayce is a great spot to spend a night or two. During the summertime at Kings Pond highs are ordinarily in the 90's with overnight lows in the 70's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's while       the cold winter nights at Kings Pond are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. A beautiful lake like Pooles Upper Millpond in the vicinity of Kings Pond is a magnificent place to stop at; there's whitewater on Saluda River for all you adrenaline people. A great close by hotel is Ramada Limited Lexington, and Edmund RV Park is a good local campground. The high level of rainfall makes Kings Pond a pretty wet place; the month of August is the wettest with                  most of the rain while November is frequently the driest month.
