This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Blythewood, Sc is a good location to get some rest; if you came for an overnight stay Capital City Campground is a great spot to camp. People from Columbia       love to come to Keels Lake, and if you're here and you like golf, you can visit Linrick Golf Course. A great close by hotel is Comfort Inn Blythewood, and Saluda River is a good whitewater spot nearby. During the warm months here at Keels Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and through the dark hours in the                  winter at Keels Lake temperatures dip to the 20's. Camping at Keels Lake is tremendous fun, Sesquicentennial State Park is a tremendous local campground; you can run the rapids of Broad River.
