The high level of precipitation makes Jordans Pond a reasonably wet site; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest of the months is November. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Congaree Swamp National Monument is a pleasant national park. Stay the night at Sesquicentennial State Park; Broad River is a splendid whitewater spot close by. Through the days of summer here at Jordans       Pond, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. During the winter highs are usually in the 50's, and night lows during the wintertime for Jordans Pond tend to be in the 30's. You're sure to bump into some good folks from Columbia here; Marina Inn at Grande Dunes is a good spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Fort Jackson Guest House is a splendid location to spend a night                  or two; Jordans Pond is a brilliant spot to camp, Bethel Campground is a brilliant spot. Golf can be played at Sedgewood Country Club. Lakes?
