There's so much to do here at Jones Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Table Rock State Park is a great place for that. Some close by water includes Molly Branch, and Matthews Creek is a brilliant whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. High temperatures at Jones Lake all through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's. Through the moonlight       hours it's mostly in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Jones Lake throughout the winter regularly drop into the 20's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Jones Lake a wet site; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
