Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Johnsons Pond. While you're here at Johnsons Pond, you could also have a look at stunning Cedar Creek Millpond; at Johnsons Pond you always meet someone from Sumter. All the water falling down from the sky makes Johnsons Pond a wet site; through       the month of July you get the most rain around here; the driest month is April. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Bishopville, and Camp In The Pines is a perfect campground nearby. After a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn-Bishopville is a nice site to spend a night or two, and don't forget to take a splendid little trip to Black Creek.
