    In South Carolina there are many beautiful lakes, Lake Isaquenna is one of them. Lake Isaquenna is a wet place that gets a large amount of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is March, and April on the other hand is the driest. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Isaquenna; Foothills Trail is a delightful local trail, and if you came to camp Moody Spring Campground is a tremendous spot to do that. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a  
   place to stay Old Edwards Inn and Spa is a pleasant choice. There's so much to do here at Lake Isaquenna that you need to camp here for a while, Oconee Station state Historic Site is a brilliant site for that.
Dry warm beds await you at Sapphire Valley Resort, unsurprisingly you could also stop at Lake Cheohee while you're here; it's not far at all. You simply should go for Lake Isaquenna. Take a side journey to Cantrell Creek, and Flat Shoal River is a perfect
 
               whitewater spot nearby. Good hiking is available along the Winding Stairs Trail, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Oconee Creek.
This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Scaly Mountain. Lake Isaquenna is not the only location nearby, Lake Cherokee is a nearby lake, and you're sure to bump into some good people from Seneca here. At Lake Isaquenna through the months of summer highs are in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are usually in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Lake Isaquenna.
